At present 100 high priority districts are identified from Bihar, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh which have low performance on socio-economic, health, education, nutrition, gender and livelihood related indicators. JANHIT will create momentum in engaging communities and its stakeholders to channelize access of marginalized and vulnerable populations to access available resources and government schemes pertaining to health, education, nutrition, gender equity and livelihood. a are being focussed with the support of networking with local civil society organizations. The SRU act as national secretariat for JANHIT.
Mentor and build capacities of local CSOs in identified districts to complement with government schemes for improving status of education, health, employment oriented skills and reduce impact of climate change. So that compulsive migration of unprivileged population can be restricted and reversed.
